    Also seller will not have to get a HIP, as property has not been advertised
    ANURADHA KOIRALA ??? go on throw it in google.
  • I think if they are willing to sell then it would be wise to do your homework very carefully on how much it is worth-they might feel they have you over a barrel on price and they can name their figure because you want the house so much.
    Scar tissue that I wish you saw, sarcastic mister know it all, close your eyes and I'll kiss you cause with the birds I'll share this lonely view.

    Why would an estate agent find out that you've been leafleting an area? Are you going to call to tell them?

    We're going to leaflet drop our target area when we move, if we can't find anything we like via the estate agents.

    The EA might find out because;

    The EA lives in the area you're leafleting.
    The EA has friends, family or business associates in this area.
    etc
    etc

    Hi there
    I did this about 5 years ago when trying to buy my flat.. posted approx 75 and got 4 replies... Prices offered were too high for me, but I defo recommend worth a shot!
    Good Luck!!
  • A friend of mine did this, he got one reply but the seller was asking too much.
  • Hi,

    Sorry to hijack your thread. We've considered doing this as there are specific roads we are interested in and we're getting desparate to find a place. Anyone have thoughts on what they would say. I'd like to get the tone right.

    I wouldn't make it sound too advert-like. Just state what you're looking for (number of bedrooms and so on) and put your contact details - telephone and an email address.
