Help..i will be made redundant but still covering for someone else

Hello,
I would like some advice on the following.
I will be made redundant from my job within 4 months.
I am currently doing my role, plus covering for someone who has been ill since may this year. I am currently a job level 9 and the person i cover is a job level 14, but I think her role is accessed a job level 11....which ever way, this role is way higher than mine and the only compensation I receive for doing this is about 100 pounds a month....which i had to request for 3 times before i was offered this.
Now everyone in the company has been informed that we will need to transition our roles prior to being made redundant. As it is, i will have to do transition for this extra role as well and I do not think it is fair on me to do this much work without any extra incentive....(not to say the workload of this role is almost twice the entire department which is currently been done by 3 people)
could you please give me some advice on where I stand legally should I refuse to carry out transition for this extra role.....
alternatively, how can i request for extra compensation for this work, if possible, and what are the grounds in which i can request for the extra incentive and how much can i request?....can i request to be paid as much as a job 11?
also....it is not in my job description to do this other role,....am i legally bound to fulfill this transition for the extra role?
i am not happy that at the end of the day after this much effort, i will be made jobless.....plus every other person in the company is having to transition one role while i am doing two.
this role is supposed to be carried by the entire team but the collegues have gradually shifted the responsibility to me alone,,,,,
please advice me asap.
I appreciate your help in advance.

Excuse me for sounding thick, but what are you "transitioning?"0

My understanding,
you're doing a role,
you've taken on extra responsibilities which you're getting an extra 100
so your current role is the above
you've now been forwarned that your role doing the above will become redundent, and that they would like activities transfered within the 4mths
how it's transfered is not your concern, it's for management to workout how this is done within the bounds of your current contracted hours
if it turns out they want to vary your terms inorder to make the transfer then that is the point that negotiating for a better package starts
just do your day job, and let others figure the what, how, when of transfer0
