I am going to get a log cabin in the garden with a fire pit thing in the middle and a hot tub and maybe a few more weekends away out of school holidays but apart from that I'm looking forward to grandchildren and still being a major part of my childrens lives.0

I got my airing cupboard back when my son (last one) finally left for the 3rd time.. its was in his bedroom and I gave up using it as I couldn't get to it :rotfl:
We planned on doing loads but it hasn't happened yet cos I retired but hubby is still working... and then of course there are the 7 grandkids who are always fighting to come and stay for the weekend... but I love it of course...#6 of the SKI-ers Club :j

I hate thinking about it really. My kids have dual nationality UK/New Zealand and close relatives in Australia and I just know DS will go out there for some period of time, he already talks about it, perhaps DD too. So if they do go, I guess I will have to work pretty hard to pay for airfares to go over there on a regular basis.
I had my children reasonably young and so hope I have built up my career by then and can have that to stimulate me but I do love being a Mum to little ones, would love to do it forever if I could.0 -

Wait till they become teenagers before you make that final decision.
The hardest thing is letting them go. I have a twenty year old at university who already considers himself moved out. Ask me where he is going to be living when he leaves there in 2011.£2 Coins Savings Club 2012 is £4.............................NCFC member No: 00005.........
