    Have you tried saynoto0870.com for free numbers for banks. I use it for HSBC and it still gets through to the same IVR options to enter your ac details etc. I get a geograpgucal number ie: 01226... that is free on my mobile and free evening and weekends on my landline.

  • For 0870 and 0845 charges... folks, USE MSE!!! MSE recommends using the SayNoTo0870.com service, which I have used to absolutely fantastic effect when I had to deal not only with DHL, but also UPS and Samsung. Sadly, Parceline's number does not work anymore, so I had to use the 0870 number.
