Annoyed today

I have changed my phone to the TalkTalk international with broadband. Saving me a fortune as my partner and lots of my friends live in North america and Europe.
Got the bill today , and I have spent £4.65+VAT on 0845 calls for banks last month. Just so annoying that when your in the poo and asking for help , they cant give you a freephone number and a personal id to type in to get access.
The to top it all , I got an email from Abbey National offering me a loan. I called Cahoot to ask why I was sent it. "we didnt send it" then why has it come into my email box cahoot*******@*******.co.uk
URghhhhhhhhh Dont know they replied. So Cahoot who I owe money has now offered me a loan via its parent company. I have several address`s which identifythe sender via rules. I will now ask for an audit trail around my personal details.
And then , cahoot refuse my payments as it doesnt match what I agreed. So now got that to deal with. Despite them sending me letters saying they agree with my proposal.

I think you have a point with the free phone numbers, especially when you are kept waiting at your own personal cost, i am sure if you could reclaim your phone costs they would soon change to a free phone number.

Mate it might be worth messaging and letting Martin know! I don't know whether it's something he would be interested in but this website is all about consumer revenge and if companies are sending/selling on details about you when they shouldn't be he might take it up! Worth a shout!0 -

Hi Johnkent
Have you tried saynoto0870.com for free numbers for banks. I use it for HSBC and it still gets through to the same IVR options to enter your ac details etc. I get a geograpgucal number ie: 01226... that is free on my mobile and free evening and weekends on my landline. There are times when parenthood seems nothing but feeding the mouth that bites you Peter De VriesDebt free by 40 (27/11/2016)0 -
It annoys me that even though I'm on Homecall's "free land line" thingy, i still get call charges....for the 0845 local rate or 0870 codes!2021 Decluttering Awards: ⭐⭐🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 2022 Decluttering Awards: 🥇
