Can I ask does propanadol work for your blushing....... I would be interested to hear your feedback as I was going to ask my gp about this as I have social anxieties and if I didnt blush constantly for no reason maybe this would be a start.

    thanks

Well what about for a guy? I blush a very obvious red, it also spreads to my neck and so when wearing a shirt i look like i've just had an allergic reaction to something and sometimes people get very worried for me!!

This happens often and i too hate it, but have learned just to ignore it.

    Is propanadol prescription only?

    Any other advice?
  • I was on 10mg of Propanolol and was taking it 3 times a day - I didn't see any difference (it's getting worse, not better!) but the doctor only gave me 2 boxes so I maybe didn't take if for long enough.
    Ivrytwr3 - I think it's prescription only
  • Also not wearing lots of make up can help as the skin can breath easier and will not be as hot

I've just came across this page and like everyone else here I also suffer from blushing. For the past few years I have been using a green conceler stick from boots and on top of that a flesh toned concelor stick also from boots. Although when I blush I can still feel my cheeks burn, these take the majority of the colour from my cheeks.
