we're looking for a decent pressure washer to clean up our patio, so would also like some tips and advice. Seem to remember from reading a thread a while back that theres something we should look for, i.e. the type motor user should be of a certain type (or something along those lines)?

Had one..then sold it (too feeble...it seemed fine until i used my brother-in-law's - what a difference) - not worth seventy quid in my opinion. Don't be fooled by the RRP...anyone that paid that, got toasted!

Also the T-Racer (patio cleaner) that comes with it, is not hinged where the rod fits in...this makes it a real pain to use.

In the end, bought one from Lidl for £79.99 ...twice the power (ie when I use it, I gotta get someone to prop me up from behind just like firemen when they're hosing out a warehouse blaze)

With the hosepipe bans and drought orders coming what's the betting we'll see some pressure washers going very cheap as the summer goes on?

Can "they" (the thieving water co.'s) initiate civil or criminal court action against someone using a pressure washer if a measuring device (meter) is fitted at a domicile covered by a drought order?

About the Karcher washer at Makro. Although they claim the RRP is £199.99, the box of the washer actually has a price flashed on it of RRP £99!
I was interested in it but that kind of put me off, not much of a real saving.
