My initial reaction to this was "who on earth are they, Europe is a joke, etc". Now I am wondering if it isn't just a different view to the ego politics that we and the States specialise in. A politician being no more than a civil servant, not an X factor celebrity. Maybe it's a good thing to give power to non charismatic people. Would the Belgian guy have taken us into an illegal war based on the strength of his personality? Probably not.0
