    If JCVD had been made euro-pres i could have accepted it more.

    My initial reaction to this was "who on earth are they, Europe is a joke, etc". Now I am wondering if it isn't just a different view to the ego politics that we and the States specialise in. A politician being no more than a civil servant, not an X factor celebrity. Maybe it's a good thing to give power to non charismatic people. Would the Belgian guy have taken us into an illegal war based on the strength of his personality? Probably not.

    Why are you worried about that? Surely the fact our country is being run (if you can call it that) by an un-elected leader should be more concerning?
