It normally take 3 - 4 charge / discharge cycles for a battery to reach its full capacity, but this does seem disturbingly low for the first cycle.0

As above although 9 hours seems very short.
Bluetooth and WiFi both drain the battery should your phone support them and they are turned on.
I doubt you'll find this elsewhere and I've no idea why it should be but on two different phones when the battery started to go flat quickly I found that letting it go down until the phone turned itself off then charging with the phone still off improved things. I have no idea why or which is the crucial bit (going flat or charging while off). Neither was new but one was only a few months old - I suspect that the phone charging circuitry must have been stopping the charging before the battery was fully charged. It may well not work for you but it costs nothing to try it.0 -
Hi, its probably a software fault on the phone causing the battery to lose charge. Either perform a software update from Nokia site or better still take it to a Nokia Repair Centre (nearly all towns have them). They'll fix any Nokia phone inside its 12 month warranty for free, usually next day. Failing that they'll replace the battery, batteries typically have a 6 month warranty so dont leave it long in case its that.0
