I have an ACE9000KBD electric metre that uses a key thingy. I have a quid left for electric and have run out of money until payday next week. Does the emergency electric automatically come on so that I still have electric or do I have do anything. How much emergency electric will I get?

-A: Value of credit in meter (value of emergency credit remaining if followed by solid E) - main screen
-B: Minimum value of credit you require to purchase to take your meter out of emergency credit and back into normal credit
-C: Date (only shown on 2 rate meters)
-D: Time (only shown on 2 rate meters)
-E: Total value of credit accepted (since meter installed or last reset)
-F: Total weekly fixed charge (standing charge and debt recovery rate (if applicable))
-G: Total number of units recorded (since meter installed)
-H: Number of units used at Domestic or Day rate (since meter installed or last reset)
-I: Pence per unit for units at Domestic or Day rate
-J: Number of units used at Night or Low rate (since meter installed or last reset, only shown on 2 rate meters)
-K: Pence per unit for units at Night or Low rate (only shown on 2 rate meters)
-R: E=£x.xx Emergency credit value
-S: Total debt value remaining set on meter
-T: Weekly debt recovery rate
As far as I know EC will just get used. Press the button on the meter and do through the displays.
R should tell you how much EC you have on there. If A displays and E then you are using EC0 -
It's usually £10 and it should kick in without a break in supply.
Note that when you do top up no standing charge or tier 1 units will have been used whilst on emergency nor will any debts be taken off. This means you will have a week or two of arrears for those to catch up on so you won't get much fuel out of your first top ups.0 -
Thanks guys, I will have light until payday woohoo

In R it says E=£005. Does this mean I only have 5p emergency electric available? On the A screen it has the amount left and a little blinking E0
