New car on the £2000 scrappage scheme

We are looking to buy a brand new car between £7000 and £8000 on the government scrappage scheme as we are fortunate enough to qualify
We have seen the Yaris, 207, Kia i20 or i10.

do you know of other makes in the scheme, what deals are available?

Obviously money is tight and we will be using this car for a very long time if we buy so wanted to ask people views about the different cars and what you think is the best deal on the scrappage scheme and why
OH already tested the Aygo, says its a little small as he is quite tall

many thanks

  • I haven't looked at anything recently. But if you do a quick search of this forum, there must of been 100's of scrapage related threads over the last 12months. They should give you a fair idea.

What ever you buy make sure you can get it before the scrappage runs out!

Almost all manufacturers have signed up to the scrappage scheme, there is a long waiting list for some popular models.
