Hi,
I have just finished paying a loan with the Yorkshire Bank which included PPI, I didnt know that I had the PPI until I looked at my final statement and saw that I had paid £1155 in insurance on top of the loan!
I have followed the step of requesting a copy of the agreement and am now in reciept of this the problem is there is a page titled Agreement of understanding of the Personal Loan Protection Plan with a load of boxes ticked and my signature at the bottom, now i do recall the sales person said because of my low income I had to have PPI she ticked all the boxes and I signed - silly me!
Also theres another part to this I work sixteen hours a week and earned around 400 per month, the advisor had put my earnings on the agreement as 950 (I presume this figure included what I get from child benefit and tax credits)
I never told her I earnt 950 a month therefore would I have been elligible to even claim is my question?
Do you think I have a case even though I signed the form?
Help would be appreciated

Hi and welcome.
I didn't think they should include these as an income, this happened to me in regards of a credit card ppi that was finally resolved through the FOS.
I know for a fact that to be eligible you would have had to have been working for 16 hours plus anyway.
You do have a good case here.
Do not worry if you signed the form, the chances are they added the ppi and ticked the box for ppi after signing, it was obviously mis sold to you going by your reasons and that you were not even aware you were paying out on this.
