british gas late payment charge!?!

British Gas start charging for late payments??? I just had a call saying if I don't pay my bill, I will get a late payment charge added to my account, wasn't specified how much, my account isn't overdue, and this is just a threat so far but has anyone else had this said to them?? seems fishy to me, but it wouldn't surprise…
