Heat pads?

Hello all, I usually inhabit the OS board but I though some of you folks might be able to help me on my hunt for the perfect heat pad.
I've got an ongoing whiplash problem (18 months so far) which produces muscular pain in my neck, shoulders and upper back and is particularly bad when sitting at my desk.
I have physio but find that heat is really good at alleviating the symptoms. For my neck and shoulders I currently use the one use, stick on Thermacare pads. They are great and as my hair is long I can wear them without them being obvious which is a bonus BUT they are pretty pricey.
I'm trying to find some sort of reusable solution for my neck/shoulders and my mid/lower back, preferably something portable (ie not mains powered).
I've looked at the reuasable "click" pads but there don't seem to be any that stick on in any way? I've got a couple of wheat pads but they are big and really obvious and I don't have access to a microwave in the daytime.
I'm hoping that with the problems that lots of you have, someone might be able to help suggest some solutions?
Thanks in advance. Piglet x

They have got the click heat pads really cheap in dunelm at the moment!
Sorry dont know of any others!0 -
Go into your local wilkinsons, they do a pack of 2 for 99p, had a back injury for about 5 years had several surgeries and swear by these pads, take a few mins to heat up but easily last 12 hours0

poundland do the curaheat shoulder pain pads sometimes, I stock up on them when they come in.0

Thanks all, I've been to Wilko's and bought some of their cheapie pads - you have to use those over clothing which I imagine is fine if I wear a vest top under something else?
Sticking the click pads on with tape is a good idea, Katie are you thinking of micropore tape? Do you think that would work?
I've also bought a Homedic plug in heat and massage pad as today was a very bad day (not by others standards I'm sure but bad for me), I used it at work and it is fab. I don't know if I'll keep it at work, will need to find out if I'm allowed to as we're not allowed plug in equipment that hasn't been checked.
Thanks for the help.Piglet
