Have any of you bought a Rest Assured Pocket Latex 1400 Puccini mattress? Just wondered how firm you found it. Also Dreams do an identical one in every way but they say it is firm and £300 more!

Rest Assured are part of the Silentnight group. Do a search for both on MSE before you even consider them. It would also be worth doing a search for Dreams.0 -
Thanks, I have but without reading through the hundreds of pages I didn't find much help. Should I be concerned about them?0

I have the rest assured rossini 1000 pocket springs and latex and though I don't find it firm that suits me fine. I have found it very comfortable and much better than the expensive memory foam mattress I had previous. I did however try it out in the shop first after I'd tried lots. I will probably be shot down now for recommending it, but I tried loads the only other that I narrowed down was a millbrook, it was a difficult choice between the two.

Done! Has put me off getting one from that group.
I would be interested to know which brands you recommend in a similar design (pocket sprung with latex)

I'm not going to shoot anyone down. You made your choice, and it is too late to change it. All I would say is wait a couple of years before you recommend it.0 -

I'm sorry if I caused you offence, I'm not knocking anybody else's products I just like my choice (if it gets uncomfortable before two years it's out the door and down to the tip).

number of springs, type of springs, materials, latex, super soft latex, memory foam, lambs wool, firmness, ortho, firm, firm feeling, name, luxury, deluxe. and price of course. I've found 2000 spring matress at £175, and 1000 springs at over £1000. All the mattress sellers have their own outer fabric and button patterns, and of course different names. It is impossible to compare anything in the mattress world, and even when you do pick one, you can't see inside, so you could actually have been sold anything. What a bunch of crooks.0
