I tried claiming back my credit card charges from both Clydesdale and Capital One earlier this year (Back in July) I received responses back offering the difference betwen the charges and £12 which wasn't very much.
Since then I haven't done anything about either of them. They have given me 6 months to accept the offers which will be up in January-ish. Is it too late to use the second template letter of Martin's? I'd like to get more than they've offered but I'm worried that I've left it too late.

OK so I sent the second letter on the 20th November which has now been 19 days and have had no response from either company - can I fill out the FOS forms now or do I need to wait a bit longer? I was hoping they'd get back to me with an offer for the charges minus interest but no joy.Saving Pennies, Losing pounds0
