forgotten pin number

Is it possible for the bank to reset my pin number over the phone as I cannot remember my pin number but need to get my money out.

    They normally send it out in a letter to the address registered against the account to prevent fraud i.e. You have found the card on the street and want the pin in order to use it.

    Edit: You can always go into the branch (or any Post Office I believe) and get cash out over the counter whilst you are waiting for the pin to arrive.

    Have you forgotten your pin or is it just locked because you failed to get it right after 3 attempts?

    If the later you can unlock it at an ATM if you can remember now.

    you cant get cash over the counter at a PO any more they have gone Chip & PIn too.

    you may be able to get cash out over the counter by writing yourself a cheque, but youll need to take ID such as a passport to do it :)

    No, they wont give you your PIN over the phone, more likely to ask you some security questions to confirm your actually you then send a new PIN out. You should be able to go in to your Bank to withdraw cash over the counter, be smart to take some extra ID too like Driver's License, a Bank Statement with your current address on it.
