    Hi,

I'm looking for the best name to call my business - I currently have a name but really don't like it.....looking for something that I don't feel embarrised about giving out on business cards / flyers / wearing on clothes etc.

My name is Marcus Gwilliam - ideally I'm looking for something clever that can use / incorporate my name.

Also - I live in a building called "Southwinds" in a town called Cooden

Can anyone think of a business name that can use some / all of these, or can someone suggest me a business name

So my current thoughts / options are:
    • Gwilltech
      Gwill computing
      Gwillcom
      Gwilltrad (for Gwilliam Trading)
      Gwilliam Computing
      (current name) I.T Conqueror
      Southtech
      Southwinds Computing
      Southtech
      Southcom

any more / better ideas anyone?

    thanks!!

    I'm no expert but:

    A View to a Gwill
    Gwill and Race
    Love Gwill Tear Us Apart
    Ready, Gwilling and Able
    George Foreman Gwill
    Gwill meet again
or maybe even (my favourite) Any Dream Gwill do

Southwinds Computing sounds good, and fits the bill as it isn't linked to a place (so you can move, plus Cooden Computing is taken) or linked to a name so you can sell the business.

Anything ending in ~tech, ~trad or ~com sounds a bit 80's or 90's to me.

  • anymore for anymore?
  • When I read the first post, the one I would have chosen was Southwinds Computing. It seems someone else agrees!

So 2 votes for Southwinds Computing.

    Acrums Computing.

Anagram of Marcus and puts you on the first page of the phone book?

  • I always find people wishing to incorporate their names into a business name egotistical and superficial.

What do you want to promote, you as a person or your business as an entity?

"Trotters independent traders" springs to mind
