  • Well its the last day of April today and ive gone seriously over budget on groceries this month so need to pull the reigns in for May. Im giving myself a £400 budget and will be cooking/baking from scratch, I have a freezer full of meat and should only need to go out and buy essentials like Milk, bread, veggies, potatoes and kids packed lunch stuff, fingers crossed I can do it.

The house decluttering is still ongoing but I have rehomed/binned/sold/charity shopped alot of stuff but still have the understairs cupboard to sort out. It has boxes in there that havent been unpacked since I moved in 17 months ago so I probably dont need anything thats in their. On the downside ive still not found the kids passports!!! Dont know where ive put them so better check through those boxes and see if they are in their, otherwise it looks like i will be forking out for 3 new passports!

I know how you feel with regards to housework its the bain of my life, i tidy up and the kids leave a trail of distruction behind me!

I wish i had a £400 grocery budget lol. I have got use to having £240 sometimes it goes a bit over but generally its thereabouts.

    Hope you find the passports!
