how to attach acer revo to my lcd tv?

Hi all,

I've just bought an Acer Revo 3610 to act as a media center.

It comes with a VESA mount which I was going to use to attach it to the back of my Sony KDL40W5500

However, the VESA mount points on the TV are 30cm apart - VESA 300?

The VESA mount is really small - apparently it is VESA 80 and 120.

My question is - how do I attache the mount for my Acer to the back of my TV? I'm guessing I'll need some sort of adapter plate but not sure which one I need?

Would this do the job?

And if so, is there anything a bit cheaper? Fair enough if I was going to use it to fix the TV to the wall but £30 sounds a lot just to attach the Revo to the TV!

Thanks,

I know this thread is old, but it's coming up in web searches so I thought the information would be useful.

I'm looking into adapter plates to mount my Revo on the back of my 42" plasma. So far, nothing. (It's 660x330)

However, I did come across this which might help you or someone else. It's a little cheaper than the one in your link.

I have no connection with the retailer and have never used them, so can't vouch for goods or their service in any way.
