Radar detectors which actually 'detect' cameras are illegal now unfortunately, but GPS based ones come built into most satnavs.0

You can get garage openers that have the added accidental effect of blocking radar readings
Do this more than once or twice though and you might get a visit from the police.
As previously mentioned best methods involve reading the speed limit signs, watching your speedometer, and many sat navs have speed camera locations based on GPS, but these are notoriously inaccurate in my experience and just give loads of annoying beeps with no speed cameras present.0
