Hi last night i managed to spill some petrol in my car and now i have the worst smell ever!! How can i get this smell out of my car, last night i tried the Comfort in boiling water and leaving overnight trick but it doesn't seem to have worked. I have heard either leaving bread in there or shake and vac or baking soda. Help as its rather annoying and freezing driving along with the windows open all the time!!!
Thanks!

just drive with your windows open a small amount, i usally drive with them open an inch or so, even when its cold, as the heaters compensate for this
depending on where you live or work leave the windows open whenever you can, this is good practice and helps the car remain fresh and means damp takes longer to form
you just need a gentle flow of air and time0 -
Yeah, i have done this today, i have left them open, i have read that the smell will eventually just go, its just so strong at the moment!! But as long as the weather stays fine i will leave them open all day.0

How did the small get ther? There is no problem if you know how, but if it is a mystery FIND THE CAUSE. It could be a rusted or burst fuel tank, which will be a tremendous risk if you have a collision.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. the vapours are bad for health from piolonged exposure.
OP try simple white vinegar sprayed on the surfaces. Then if you have access try some steam cleaning or a carpet cleaner and spray again with vinegar. heard it supposed to be good for such type of stains/smells.0
