ooooh i forgot to say, i have a cooker... and it's all wired up n everything....

sexy painter/handy man (oooops did i just say that out loud!) did it for me....

and never charged extra... altho i did give him £80 for the 2 bedrooms when he quoted £65... lovely painted woodwork and ceilings now... and he did kitchen ceiling 2 coats as well... worra bargain for £80...

So he did it in both bedrooms and the kitchen and you only had to pay him £80.............good work Maz!:rotfl:

    @ Lou - *hugs*

Three years and two months and still no sign of an engagement ring here, though James did ask me a few days before I left sixth form (two years ago! ). He says he wants to live with me first before he asks me properly, which is fair enough. He once bought me some earrings for Xmas which I was convinced was a ring. The look on my face when I opened the box was priceless. In front of his dad and sister too! :rotfl:

    Canvas or DIY?

Been stupidly busy at work, doing 13 to 15 hour days and then having lots of meetings. but have come out of it with a 2.7% pay rise and a better, fairer rota and Personnel Management Systems.
I need a long holiday now.......got a hernia op booked for January so if I last that long I will take the whole month off, lovely!

    Hows Bookies world?

Talking of rings, hubby is buying me one for my 40th. I think I've found the perfect one :) Can't wait to see his reaction when he sees the price. Expensive taste, me????
