Canon Powershot A620

I currently have the camera Canon A620. I use it for work in which I take pictures and then have to send onto a customer for view. I am taking pictures of quite large boxes and various aircraft seals. However the picture files are over a 1mb big each time. This is too big for email, I just wanted to know if anyone knows how to take my photos using the camera so that the picture files are smaller.....any ideas?
Thanks

under the menu system you should have an option to set the number of mega pixals and quality of image taken (though on my canon dSLR it isnt stated as mp but as files size (large, medium and small)). I dont have experience with your particular camera but have never seen a camera that doesnt have this option.
the other route would simply be to resize the images after taking them and before emailing them. If you dont have an image program you can download GIMP for free and use its bi-cubic rescaling to make the images a more managable size. All posts made are simply my own opinions and are neither professional advice nor the opinions of my employers
