The day our stoozing died :(

how stoozing went from 'hero to zero'?
I was fairly late into stoozing so paid fees of 2-3% on all my stoozes. It was the fall in savings interest rates that killed the credit card stooze for me, not the introduction of fees (although a 7% savings rate on a truly 0% transfer must have been tasty!).Signature on holiday for two weeks0 -
I've not been on here for a while, but this thread feels like a love-in for 'old friends'
Just wanted to add that my own stoozing was up to over £100,000 at one point (with an additional £37,000 in my wife's name which I was also managing).
Stoozing helped me clear my own mortgage much earlier than anticipated. I wrote all about it on a post way back in 2007; if you're interested in reading about it, click here. I'm still proud of what I managed to achieve.
My own stoozing is down to around just £15,000 now (thanks to a recent helping hand from Abbey whom decided to offer me 0% with no BT fee - I've been partying like it's 2006).
The only problem with having no mortgage is that I'm buying too many CDs and one day I might need to move to a bigger place to house 'em all :rotfl:.Mortgage Feb 2001 - £129,000
Mortgage July 2007 - £0
Original Mortgage Termination Date - Nov 2018
Mortgage Interest saved - £63790.60
ISA Profit since Jan 1st 2015 - 98.2% (updated 1 Dec 2020)0
