Connecting to BT Yahoo Broadband - help!

I have spent most of the day on the phone to BT Yahoo Broadband helpline but still no satisfaction.
I tried to connect to internet this morning and could only do it through internet explorer not by logging in through the Bt Broadband icon page. It kept coming up "sign in failed". Eventually thought I had got it sorted but now can only connect if I go to network connections and click on the BT Yahoo Broadband connection, then click on the BTBroad band icon on my desktop and then enter my password. Sorry if I am rambling on but is there anything else I can do. I am not really up to date with computers, its ok until something goes wrong. Hope someone can help. Thanks

Have you tried downloading the BTYahoo Help software. I found it fixed my connection. After problem was fixed I uninstalled it as it automatically connects each time you open windows and runs in the background which is a bit annoying0
