Has anyone had any experience of a bank assisted sale? We have both physical & financial problems with our property, we are in negative equity and we have not managed to sell on the open market. If I need to achieve a certain price for my property but can't, then I have a choice to either market the property in a different way or to renovate it. An assisted sale is where someone or some company help you to achieve one or other or both. This can either be for a fixed fee or a share of the uplift of the property.
This is a win win situation as you achieve what you want without it costing you a penny and the person or company wins because they will sell the house at a higher price than you were expecting and thus take their income from this.
