The nearest accommodation to where hubby and I want to go is a Premier Lodge. We have never stayed in one before and we were wondering whether anyone would recommended we book it? Do they include breakfast or can you purchase breakfast at the lodge? Is there normally a restaurant close by? :-/
Can someone please answer by this evening as we need to get some where booked and I did look at their site but they didn't answer my questions? Thanks in advance!

hi jo4,
hoping I'm not too late to answer you. I've stayed at the premier lodge loads of times. the beds are big 'n' comfy, and they all seem to have a restaurant or caterer either on the premises or next to the main building.
actually prefer them to travel lodges. you wont get choccies on your pillows and fresh flowers in your room, but they are really good value for money
the prices dont include breakfast, but they have plenty of tea/coffee items in the room, if you need a caffeine hit before you face the world :P

Stayed in Premier Lodge last week and was impressed with the place - BUT the online booking system was awful.
Went through the process, giving all Visa details etc and waited for confirmation - after a while sceen appeared saying something like " booking has not been registered". Tried again about ten mins later, same result.
Phoned them and explained the problem, a helpful lady went thru booking process for me. Fine, except that I subsequently got two emails telling me I had booked identical rooms TWICE !! Two Visa debits already taken (it was a promotion, so pay upfront!) and couldn't be refunded!
Back to the phone and about 15 mins to sort out !
But, as I say, the place was good.I say what I like, I like what I say!0 -
ps If you want to use the phone to book Premier Lodge then go to 'Cancel a booking page' on their site and use the 'outside UK number' - knock off +44 and insert an '0'.
I think it is 01604 824 202 .
Much cheaper than 0870 (only 0.5p/min with '18866'!!).
Ask for 'reservations'.I say what I like, I like what I say!0 -

You weren't too late answering as I meant I was going to book it this evening as in Friday evening, sorry, I really was never good at English! :-[ Hubby will be delighted to hear about the "Traditional breakfast". 8)
