That is a very good site, we have used it lots to get rid of stuff in the freebies section

Has anyone checked out the freebies regularly offered on Gumtree.com?
Lots of people have things they want to get rid of, from furniture to cars, and they post these regularly on the site.
I got a nice bookcase, some crafty bits to make necklaces and a few books for free! Check it out!0
