Don't know if you are all aware of this, but gumtree has a freebie section where people give away almost everything you could imagine, mostly London area though...

    Yes I have used freecycle and have found it to be a good way to get rid of old clutter. It's amazing that people actually want some stuff, but there you are. Old computer equipment seems to be in demand - lots of charities and community groups pick stuff up from freecycle, so could be a good way to get rid of that old printer or monitor that's gathering dust?

    All very well if you want stuff but not so good if your getting rid of stuff. Why advertise for free when you can e-bay it and make some money!
