Don't know if you are all aware of this, but gumtree has a freebie section where people give away almost everything you could imagine, mostly London area though...

Yes I have used freecycle and have found it to be a good way to get rid of old clutter. It's amazing that people actually want some stuff, but there you are. Old computer equipment seems to be in demand - lots of charities and community groups pick stuff up from freecycle, so could be a good way to get rid of that old printer or monitor that's gathering dust?Midas.0
