ESA medical not completed

To cut a long story short... I completely overspent my energy over the weekend/mon/tues and became 'distressed' (Dr's term for my coming close to falling off my chair with exhaustion) before the medical was completed. What happens now?

It depends. If the examiner feels he has enough information then he will submit the medical report based on that, if not you will be contacted for another appt.
    Gone ... or have I?

Well I'm guessing they've decided something because there's an extra £251.36 gone into my account today (I got the regular £128.60 yesterday). I haven't received any paperwork and despite being a spreadsheet queen I can't make the figures make sense and the JCP lady hasn't bothered to return my support worker's calls.

I've been asked to take part in a MORI survey about my experience of applying for benefits... :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Work-related group, joy, I guess I have to appeal. Where do I start?

Why do you need to appeal?

because I already require a substantial care package and can only spend a very short time with my toddler as it is. If I have to be expending extra energy on more medicals and finding a job that will effectively make me no longer a mum in anything but name. It's not like I haven't thought or tried to get back into working, I have. But I can't even manage my care budget without help!

But you have been put in the work related activity group, this is because they think you need care and support. If you had been found fit for work they would have taken you off ESA all together.

they're going to care for and support me by expending my energy and therefore making it more difficult for me to cope?!

    Hi,
I was initially placed in work related group. When I went for my first work related interview they took one look at me and deferred my interviews. I appealed - download a form GL24 or ring and ask for one to be sent - tell them you want to appeal and the reason why - mine was related to my ability to walk or not without falling over. Mine was reconsidered and I was placed in the support group. It seems that this happens quite a lot.
You will be paid at the work related rate.
    Good luck,
    Mollyxx
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

Why would you do this knowing that the medical was coming up?

Would be like me staying up all the night before so I was wrecked. You presumably know how much physical exertion is appropriate for your condition.
