X-Box 360 encryption problem

I tried to set up WPA PSK encryption on our netgear router using a short sentence as the key. My sons X-Box asks for the key but it still wont connect after the key is entered. Can anyone shed any light on where I'm going wrong on this please?

I would check if they both generate the same "key"

my netgear router will do a 64 bit or 128 bit key.

does the xbox360 also generate the same key length?

other than that wait for someone with more knowhow than me to reply.

just noticed you said wpa psk not wep my reply relates to wep keys

Sorry, can't help directly. But there is a forum dedicated to getting xbox'es online here: http://www.cableforum.co.uk/board/forumdisplay.php?f=15 its primarily cable modems, but there are some people using adsl on there, so both are equally covered.
