Has anyone got an e-mail in their student e-mail account from jeremy @ bluehornet.com? It ended up in my spam folder, so don't know if it's legit. Below is the email, with all links removed.
If it's not genuine, how did I get it because I never get spam at this address. And how'd they know I purchased Windows 7? Having Googled it, there seems to be quite a few people who are suspicious of this.Dear ,

I know bluehornet is a legit organisation, although quite a few people have said that Microsoft don't work with bluehornet.Northern Ireland club member No 382 :j0 -
What is "Microsoft Office for Windows 7" when it's at home? Virtually any version of Office works on Windows 7!Money_Grabber13579 wrote: »Has anyone got an e-mail in their student e-mail account from jeremy @ bluehornet.com? Blue Hornet seems to be an anti-spam organisation - and I would guess that 'someone' is trying to destroy their reputation by sending out spam purporting to come from Blue Hornet.0 -

But how would they have known that I had purchased Windows 7, and through that e-mail account, the address of which has never been given out anywhere except to Mircosodt for this purpose?Northern Ireland club member No 382 :j0 -
I got this as well and clicked the link. It just said something about activating from what I can remember.0

Despite agreeing that I don't see how anyone other than MS got my address, this does doesn't look genuine -and doesn't read like any other MS communication I have received! Went straight into the "delete" box.....0
