Can I ask why you want to pay a company to do something you can either do yourself or get a free charity to help you with instead? Why would you prolong your debt by handing over part of your money to a company to send a few letters?

  • Yeah and if you do it yourself or go for a non fee charging company, you will clear your debts more quickly too as all your money will be going to paying your debts and not to a company who are just out to line their pockets. And you tend to find that creditors are more likely to accept the dmp for this reason.
Debt 30k in 2008.:o Cleared all my debt in 2013 and loving being debt free :)
    Mortgage free since 2014 :)
