Counterfeit Online Shopping

Hi,

Has anyone had experience of buying at christian louboutin shoes online? I paid £120 for a pair of shoes, which I was assured by the online help were genuine, but when they came, they definitely were not. I could have made them myself - a lot better!!

The finish was terrible, including a twisted heel which means they cannot be worn. They appear to be stalling about giving me the details of where and how I can return them, before the time limit.

Can anybody help? Am I covered by my credit card?

I believe that you are covered as the item was more than £100, i could be wrong but i think you need to keep on them before you turn to your CC co

Interestingly, I just went to the official website here and there's a warning at the top of the page basically saying they don't sell their shoes online and any site doing so is illegal and likely to be selling fake shoes (can't c&p the exact wording as it's part of a flash presentation)

What was the site you used? Asking a site selling fake shoes if they're genuine is rather like asking a geezer in a pub if the stereo he's selling is stolen and expecting him to say 'yes mate, it is'

Can I have the info too, my silly friend has been caught by http://www.fashionbootsite.com/ she paid by master card, the site was even advertised on the sun website! please pm what she has to do or say here.

Here is what you need to do^^

k first off im assuming you paid on mastercard so follow the below advice. If you paid on visa credit card the rules are different. Please post if its visa and ill get back to you with full answers as visa is a bit of a pain.

Ok first of get independant report confirming the shoes are fake. Office are good and usually do it for most people. otherwise you need to get onto Christian Loboutin direct or might be easier trading standards or any store in the uk that sells/stocks these items that are prepared to get it down on headed paper they have inspected the shoes and they are fake.. They will provide a report to confirm item is fake.
2- Email the retailer to advise the goods are fake and your are making them available for pickup. Please note do not, repeat do not send the goods back to this merchant. It is not required for mastercard. Doesnt matter if they ignore you or give you some broken english reply you have evidence to show you have goods available to the merchant.
3- Send your invoice with a covering letter along with proof you have tendered return and the independant report to the bank

Easy as that chargeback will be done reason code 4853 not as described.
