Puncture-proof tyres for 4-wheeled luxury mobility scooters?

Anyone bought these as an upgrade for pneumatic tyres on a mobility scooter?

If so, where/how were the acquired and who fitted them please?

Did you notice any big decline in ride comfort afterwards?

Hi we recently bought a scooter for our father that already had these tyres fitted and found the ride a lot less comfortable,

we are in the reverse situation that we would like to get pneumatic wheels and tyres

A friend of mine specified them on a new Shoprider Cadiz (big 8mph job) around 3 years ago. Still on original tyres with no problems. They aren't 'solid' and there is some give in them - filled with some kind of foam. Can't say if there was any decline in ride comfort obviously but the scooter itself is well sprung, as is the seat and he has no complaints about them. Any dealer should be able to supply and fit. If you could get hold of the tyres separately it would probably be a feasible DIY operation with care - scooter wheels normally have split rims so there is the tyre bead doesn't have to be forced over the rim.
