Yes, sounds good. Ill go to the BOS tomorrow, and ask if they can extend it further....if they cant, then ill ask about a grad account loan or change banks....but i can i get another student account even though im close to graduation? I know with the BOS that they let you continue with the student account 1year after you graduate.

You could always apply to your university to see if they have an Access to Learning Fund (mentioned elsewhere in the student money savers board). This is exactly for these kinds of situations, where you simply cannot afford to live, or so I believe! Would be worth looking in to, and it is ok for final year students to do it too!

You have to earn over 25000 a year to be eligible for zopa so for a student i think this may be a bit of out of your reach. But good suggestions so far !

Go to the gambling board at this site and read the posts about making free money through matched betting. You can make anything up to a grand on simple signup offers without risk. Donglemouse's diary on the same board gives an idea of how to progress through offers.

Yes, the matched bets and free bets can return a good income if you take the time to study how it works and what you have to do. But you do need patience and it's easy to make a mistake. I'm thinking of starting up myself, but as I said before will need to do some studying beforehand.

    Cheers and take care.

    re grad loan

In fact most will need to see evidence of income or employment in order to give you one.
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind

I don't think your position sounds all that bad. its pretty easy to get another overdraft with another bank, you just got to be prepared to bend the truth a little.

I got two overdrafts no problem and some of my mates have more. Just don't be tempted to spend it all!
What's it going to be, eh?

At the same time, do remember that the more accounts you have with different banks, the higher the degradation to your credit rating. I spoke to experian about this. The more accounts you have, the more 'relationships' you have, and when the automated credit score check looks at your file, the more 'relationships' you have the lower the final score.

Also, if you apply for an account but are rejected, that goes down as a search on your file. Again from experian, the more searches, the lower the score that registers on the credit check.

    Good luck.

    Cheers and take care.
