Can't get money back from anyone!

I am in a bit of a jam! Thought I was getting bargain of the century when I found a pair of Christian Loboutin boots for £156! They finally arrived (from Shanghai!) and they were brown! All pictures showed grey! I thought I was buying grey boots !! They are telling me they won't give me a full refund. The bank won't refund me (paid by credit card) because the confirmation order is ambiguous (doesn't specify a colour). And to top it off the boyfriends thinks I'm stupid because the website looks so dodgy and he now thinks they are fakes! So I have a fake pair of CL's and no-one will help me! Is there anything I can do??????

I don't think so, but there might be someone with a bit more knowledge than me who might say otherwise.

In the meantime, get your boyfriend to buy you some ones for Christmas since he's the Christian Loboutin website expert

If your credit card company won't help, then you can't do anything I'm afraid - other than mark it down as a lesson (albeit and expensive one) learnt.

Yes there is thankfully you have paid on credit card.
Its almost 100% that the items are fake being they are shipped from China. and the cost you paid... I mean come on you dont buy genuine items at that price. There is loads of sites set up like this. Most commonly fake ghds ugg boots Christian shoes etc etc.All goods are replicas made in china and shipped out.


Ok first off im assuming you paid on mastercard so follow the below advice. If you paid on visa credit card the rules are different. Please post if its visa and ill get back to you with full answers as visa is a bit of a pain.

Ok first of get independant report confirming the shoes are fake. Office are good and usually do it for most people. otherwise you need to get onto Christian Loboutin direct or might be easier trading standards or any store in the uk that sells/stocks these items that are prepared to get it down on headed paper they have inspected the shoes and they are fake.. They will provide a report to confirm item is fake.
2- Email the retailer to advise the goods are fake and your are making them available for pickup. Please note do not, repeat do not send the goods back to this merchant. It is not required for mastercard. Doesnt matter if they ignore you or give you some broken english reply you have evidence to show you have goods available to the merchant.
3- Send your invoice with a covering letter along with proof you have tendered return and the independant report to the bank

Easy as that chargeback will be done reason code 4853 not as described.

Any problems give me a shout. Deal with this and various others day in and day out.

The OP has already said that the bank won't help....

yes cause the angle that the OP put to the bank was that they bought one coloured show and recieved a different one and their documenation wasnt clear enough to support misrepresentation.

Do as above posted going at the angle the good recieved are fake and your chargeback will be fine.
