BG beaten on price
I have just had an interesting conversation from a sales person at BG:rolleyes:
He kept giving his speil about how BG could save me money on my G&E so I told him that saying how much money my DD would be and how his £25 discounts for this and his £9 discount for that etc was totally meaningless unless he told me exactly how much I would be paying for the next year for 4200 kWh of electricity and 19000 kWh for gas, including vat and discounts.
He waffled on a bit but I told him I wanted that cost.
So he eventually worked it out and told me. So I told him that BG was £43 more than I would be paying to my present supplier and was he sure that BG was the cheapest.
He asked for my figures and after checking them himself he had to agree that I was correct and promptly hung up:j.

lol, £25 discount, you can easily get more off going thru one of the comparison sites0

At least they've admitted it, which is a start.
The only thing BGAS can be cheaper on are standard prices, assuming specific usage criteria. But then wou will stay on a standard tarriff (hopeffuly as few people as is possible).0 -
Well done!
