For a mobility scooter I would guess it could be possible to source full rubber tyres? It isn't like they rely on the air inside to get hot and wouldn't think the impact on the ride too much?
Or get some tyre foam and just fill them with it? On cars this means a replacement tyre and is just used to get "home"... but at speeds of 4mph it could be ok. No guarentees though - I am speculating!

solid in-filled rubber tyres appear to be what is otherwise known as "puncture proof"

You can get puncture free tyres for mountain bikes, so you might be able to get them custom made. Tyres act as a damper though, so the suspension might be a bit hard/bumpy.

Have you checked with the manufacturer?
Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)
  • You could use something like a 'tube seal,' which goes inside the inner tube or a 'Bike Tyre Liner' which goes between the tyre and the inner tube. I use both on my mountain bikes and have had no punctures (or been very fortunate, lol)

and to think neilmcl was quoting run-flats, bmws and 50mph - :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
  • When it comes to tyres it is a fact that they are, a integral part of any vehicle. It does not matter if it is a combination of harvester or a formula one racing car you need good quality tyres in good condition in order to use the car van truck or minibus.

Many companies like Michelin, Goodyear have released puncture proof tires.
