having been without water for 6 days no i was advised to speak to the housing standards team this i have done
they say they can now send in a council plumber and serve and enforecement notice on the landlord for the cost involved and i would have water today im also entitled to make a claim for the time without water against the landlord
but im not sure what to do
landlord was due to turn up today 9am to fix ... and its now 15:07 and this is the first time hes answered his phone to tell us that he has hurt his back and is in bed but hell be able to come out tommrrow at 2pm to fix it
do i wait to find out if he turns up or not tommorrow day number 7 or do i get council involved and risk being made homeless because i dont think hell take to kindly to the councils involvment

Do what is right for you, not your landlord.
Evicting you would be a nightmare if you dig your heels in.
It sounds as though you'd be better off elsewhere anyway.
If you do get the boot, make a dirty protest as your parting gesture.
Good luck.0 -
I agree, I think it's time to get the council in. And if you can probably try and look for somewhere else anyway, if your landlord has treated you like this, it's likely to be the same with all kinds of other issues in the house.
It really doesn't sound like he'll turn up tomorrow - why wait?0
