could anyone give advise on the SMC

whats it like
What do you refer to the judge as
how long can the hearing last
is it formal
can you take helpers


Anyones experience would be gratefully received

Haven't yet had to attend such a hearing myself (thankfully) but am reliably informed that they do not usually last very long (10 mins.) so you have to have your wits about you to get your points across to the DJ (District Judge) as succinctly as possible and not waffle on too much.
