identical amounts different names

on Friday i ordered a dress off the net https://www.koodos.com this name appears on my on-line bank statement for £25.98 that's all correct so I know what that is..

K.L (MANAGEMENT) L, HASTINGS appears too with the identical amount,
now apparently the Hastings one took their money out at 6.13pm and koodos at 7.18pm on Friday, now this is confusing never heard of the company so been on to the bank who had no details of the Hastings company at all, i asked about getting my money bank if i felt that this was not legit, they have told me to contact Hastings to get money back... i can't find them on the net and don't know who they are. I have spoken to koodos who say they have not heard of them either

what do i do, £25.98 is a lot of money to me

Hastings is a place....

The company is called K.L (MANAGEMENT) L and they are obviously based in Hastings.

Sorry I thought you had gone into the bank and asked the bank who Hastings are, rather than K.L. Management.

Go back into branch and say you think there has been fruad on your account and if they can look into it.

They may not until you get a police reference though. But only do this if you think there is genuine fruad.

I've spoken to the bank, and koodos, both don't know the 'Hastings' company.....

So I've tried to find them on the internet with no Joy, so you are saying go back to the bank and tell them i think it's fraud?

I honestly have never heard of this company, and I think its just quite weird that 2 different named companies within an hour of each other have taken identical amounts out of my account.

That was my original thought.

I would check with partners etc. or anyone who may have used your card, just to check.

I think the bank can also tell you how the payment was made, so ask this as well.

I would also run a virus scan just to make sure there isn't key logging software on your computer.

www. k l management com (sorry can't do links) but it is a blank page when opened - "K L Management is a online internet solution company that provides interactive services such as web hosting, web site design, online management" - taken from their Google description.

Mystery is solved

The OH has just popped in and i have just shown him my on-line bank statement, he's had a check on the net, apparently this company has taken over 'cosmos' all you can eat restaurants...
I paid for 2 x £12.99 there on Friday, confusing as if my bank statement had said cosmos is would of known straight away, not K.L (Management) Ltd Hastings.

I just went on to check my bank statement online saw this L.K management thing and absolutely paniced also! Was literally about to ring bank and cancel card (I have been a victim of fraud before so i panic easily) and luckily googled it and this thread came up! God damn cosmos lush food but y L.K management!!!!???
