I have recently read and posted on a couple of threads concerning internet security and firewalls etc.

I recenly came across this site when skimming through a security book in waterstones.

On the first page click on SHIELDSUPI or wait for the main page to load, scroll down to hotspots and then look for the SHIELDSUP link. This should take you to a toolbar to check on your vulnerability from several external sources.

Thanks - he seems to have upset a few folks. Wish I could remenber the book that suggested his site, but I was left with the imporession that shieldsup was a recognised strandard test.

Not sure what the guy has to gain by promoting tests that give fals positives or negatives. It looks like his site is dependent upon hits which would only come with a credible test and ongoing referals.
