My cheat for wrapping big, awkward shaped things is to get a big enough box, wrap that, and plonk it upside down over it. :o

The photo album is a lovely idea. For a bizarre second, I thought that was you in the picture. I'm blaming the tablets..... :rotfl:

If it's coast buy it Sally. If it's no good take a better photo and you are bound to get more for it than £12.

    Thanks think I will

Anyone know about 'suitable attire for ladies'??

Its a private members club but I am going for a work meeting - I dont really want to wear a suit because the two I have are too big but I cant think what else would qualify without being evening wear!

    OMFG quote from their website:
Porters at the door are authorised to deny admission to anyone considered to be in breach of the dress code.
Gentlemen are required to wear closed collar, jacket and tie. Ladies are required to dress with similar formality. Jacket (but not tie) may be removed:

    • in the Study, Billiards and Card Rooms
    • during breakfast in the Coffee Room
    • in the Garden
Recognised national and religious dress and service dress uniform may be worn at any time.

And neither do you, silly! :)

    Hmmm....my 'non' boyfriend. :o

Well, on Saturday I went to watch him play hockey, then he invited me for a drink with him and the team, then invited me to his house for dinner. He mentioned that his ex would be dropping the kids off so I would 'get to meet her too' (which in the end I didn't because she rang and asked him to collect them - not because I was there I hasten to add - but I was kind of pleased that it was okay for me to meet his mates and his ex wife).

Spent a lovely evening/night at his house, then had a lovely relaxed morning playing silly games and reading with his kids. Then we took them for a walk to the park, and his daughter insisted I push her on the swing, not him.

So all went brilliantly, and he said he had had a lovely time, and he was really glad I'd gone - he joked about 'come and watch me play hockey' becoming a bit of a euphemism, but he was (for him) quite open and affectionate the whole time.

Since then he seems to have gradually backed off though. He's not ignoring me exactly, but for example, he is online now, and hasn't talked to me. We haven't chatte properly for a few days, except one night when I initiated it. He could just be busy. But then why be online? Makes me very paranoid. :o
