    Well done Eliot...

Pap :grouphug: what is puppy party though?

Snags...who needs anne summers when we have ipods huh...i take mine to bed all the time...

Ohh its something one of the vet nurses at our practice organise for free. *Well I say free but apparently we use the most expensive vet in our area. Thats subject to opinion though because I love the service they offer and wouldnt take any of my animals anywhere else :p* Basically any puppy who has just had/having its injections are invited and you and the dog get to meet other owners and breeds etc. There you get taught the basics and how to spot changes in your dog etc. The best bit is you also get freebies of food and treats etc, very MSE

Need to get him into puppy behaviour classes though as he is going to be hell if he is let off the lead... Alas lil bro cant afford the £50 for 8 classes

Please dont go there again Ames. I am still badgering him about insurance. I know I shouldnt do uit but I am tempted to just insure him myself (£30 a month). Not because he cant afford it but because I dont want to see anything happen to the dog that we wont be able to afford to put right, ie opperation or something

Anyways, I was going to post this a few days ago but didn't. I just wated your opinions really. The dog got hold of my razor the other day and although he isnt injured the plastic clip that holds the head inplace has snapped. At the time it wasnt cheap but it has lasted about four years. When I last purchased heads for it bulk brought 10 heads. I now have around 6/7 left with no razor to fit them. I have been to boots/supermarkets/superdrug etc and they dont stock this one anymore. I have however found one on ebay very cheap. It looks ok, and I wont use the head that is on there anyway but does it look too good to be true. Btw the seller is also selling the razor and 60 heads for only £13  Any thoughts? I know its not a lot to lose but it is when your skint and I could just go and buy a new one in asda for £4 with 4 heads...

Ah well I dont know about ipods but I cant use iTunes for music for my phone rarrrrrr...

Kindle you can only buy from Amazon and at the moment there are 7 kinds of ebook format - I want to wait until there's one, but it looks unlikely that formats will ever be switchable at the moment due to encryption (no giving your downloaded books to your mates either) like DRM but for books - it sucks in my opinion ebook makers could have learned from what happened to music but instead they are trying to copy the same stupid tactics...

Pap, sorry for dragging it up again.

Be careful with ebay, apparantly razors are one of the most faked items on there, you could ask on the ebay board what they think.

Surely since he's a pup you could get insurance for a lot less than £30 a month? Don't you owe your bro money? Why not insure the dog and tell him you're paying for that instead of paying him back.

Oh bummer Pap, I had one of those up until about 2 months ago when I moved bedrooms and chucked a load of old stuff out. :o

Should be okay if you're just buying it for the holder, and not the razor I would imagine. As long as you check the razor fits on securely.

To be honest, I doubt anyone would bother faking the cheap plastic holder, because it's the blades themselves where the money is made.

As Ames rightly says though, would avoid the razors themselves. I once bought some fake ones...... _pale_

    Ahh its ok :D

I know that the heads are regually faked hence why I wouldnt use it. Its only to use up the remaining blades untill I can afford a whole new unit...

You can get it for £10 a month but hes not really covered, the £30 is covered for life. By that I mean if in year one they find out he has diabetes in year two they wont pay out for that. Because at renewal after year one it would be a pre exsisting condition  No I dont owe him any thing. I pay him £10 a month as my contrubitions to the tv. I dont 'owe' anything....

:rotfl: Ironic isnt it. Maybe I will buy one and see, it cant be that bad. Yes I definately will not use the razor heads/blades as I deffo dont want to use them let alone line someones pockets who want to rip off a company. I will order one and let youu know how I get on. Its silly really because I have two electric ones but I can only use a 'normal' one for under my arms

Thanks again everyone for your imput :T
