You should have ordered a takeaway Toni, hope your drinking a lot and taking your tablets, make sure the boys clear up while you have a rest. Thanks for all the info on mars last night did see a very bright object but too cold to stay looking for to long.
I'm sure you look after and spoil your grandkids rotten Crin.
My Oh slept on chair with feet up this afternoon while I ironed.
Just managed to open safe on facebook first time.

Been out working with OH today and tomorrow, fitting a solid oak floor for my aunt and uncle, looks really nice but wow my knees are killing me LOL

Hi everyone. Today sounds like ironing day. My DH is ironing his shirts for work too. I never do any - how lucky am I :j

Still furious from balls-up with a furniture order I made. Searched high and low to find a slim white wardrobe, the only one I could find was through a catalogue company. Ordered it on 28 December. Waited 2 weeks for delivery date. Didn't turn up. Phoned and was told delivery company had lost it! Had to re-order (and pay again!!) they then processed a refund for the first one. Told them I wouldn't wait another fortnight and was promised it would be delivered the next week. Delivery day came and went (waited in all day again with DD climbing the walls), no wardrobe. Phoned and ranted! Was told I should never have been given a guarenteed date, it would be with me next week. The delivery company phoned this Tuesday and said they'd bring it Wednesday. I was due to be out, so they left it in out house. Anyhow, finally got round to assembling it tonight. OH opened box...it was BRIGHT YELLOW!!! They've sent me the wrong colour. I mean, BRIGHT BLOODY CANARY YELLOW! Who on earth would want a yellow wardrobe I ask you??

Am so mad. Phoned them and they said...get this...I could re-order (another 2 week delivery time) but would have to pay again as they can't refund me til they get the yellow one back. Have you ever heard anything like that. :mad:

Rant over! Off to scoff chocolates and wallow in my anger...

I have heard of this delivery/return/refund before, I had it with Very (Littlewoods Direct), I bought a TV stand from them, it was the only one I could find that fitted in a gap where our TV goes but it was faulty, ordered a second one but was charged on account, refunded on faulty one 14 days after it was back with them. Second one was faulty too (same fault) so told them where they could stick it! Still had to pay 2 delivery charges though!

Hope you have some nice chocs to hand, I would be angry too.

I think I would have blown a gasket by now missie lizzie.

I have had a problem with 2 samsung mp4's I got off a catalogue too but the first one they refunded straight away and the second is going backon Monday and I have told them I want an immediate refund as it is the same fault as the original one I bought. Needless to say I will NOT buy one from samsung again.

Hope everyone has had some luck today.
