Morning all. I actually have 5 mins peace in bed YAY The boy is at his nans and the girl is downstairs with daddy. Having a cup of hot choc whilst I catch up on comps. I hate the fact that there's no post on a Sunday! Anyone have anything nice planned?

Finally got a few comps done last night, only upto 25th but am getting there slowly.

Where has January gone already? It'll be 1st February a week tomorrow!!!

Need to sort theme park tickets out if we are still going to Florida, I do want to go but right now can't deal with everything going on & because the booking was in my name I have to sort tickets out if getting them from Virgin so need to get backside in gear really lol.

Been watching Yankee hour on QVC, a complete waste of time lol Wonder if anything different will be on later? Also want to catch Quacker Factory Outlet hour later if I can, the top & jumper I got last time are so lovely!

Morning all.

Sat here writing my to do list for the week. Got lots of little things to do during my week off but want to make the most of it too so going back to my list making coping strategy! At the moment it doesn't look too bad. Not sure whether to blitz all the cleaning rubbish jobs today/tomorrow or do a few bits every day. I'm actually looking forward to having a clean and tidy house - it's been so long!

Yea it's great doing up a house NoName... although it's taking us so long! The first thing we did 7 years ago was paint the hall/stairs/landing as the previous owner for some unknown reason did it in a really deep dark pink colour which made the whole house really dark! Then I remember doing the lounge over one December/Christmas and having a massive panic when we pulled the dado rail off and one of the nails holding it on was going through a heating pipe - we had dirty water everywhere! My dream room would be the kitchen but there is no way that'll ever happen - I've seen a gorgeous DIY kitchen in B&Q, it's purple and cream and shiny and lovely - I think I'll have to wait for my new kitchen when we eventually decide to move.
