Was waiting for a bus to connect with my train home from kings cross and this meant a relatively easy commute across london.
the bus never turned up until i was within 6 minutes of the 1st train to get.
and then to make matters worse the driver went at 5mph the whole way.
got to the station to find the train pulling away - missed it by seconds!!!
had to pay £2.10 to use the underground to get to kings cross and made my leeds train by 10 minutes.
complained to bus company the next day and about 5 weeks later got an email from tfl stating that as a goodwill gesture they would send me a saver book of 6 bus tickets!.
BTW the bus company's name is
*****line

Fair play say I! As I have to get a bus before my connecting train to get home from work every day, there's nothing worse than a late running bus which means you miss the train by minutes then have to faff around at the train station waiting for the next one. Especially as the weather's so carp lately! The number of times I've had to leg it off the bus to catch the train with seconds to spare has been far too many times for my liking!!Do good deeds and you could raise the curtain, do good deeds and you could really raise your life....0

Anyone ever noticed how the first post to many threads is often a stupid one??
Good for you, bus fares are so expensive for a service that is almost always late in my experience. Thankfully I don't ride the bus anymore but when I have a hellish train journey or three trains or more it's so aggravating for one to be late/slow and miss my change over :mad:
I'm definitely going to complain about such things in future as this kind of thing happens to me all the time!0 -

You should HAVE written in English, or not bothered - idiot!
You should know better Willie, seeing as "the majority of the PI handlers here including myself are educated to degree level " {quoted from another Junkyard Willie post.}
Hardly an advertisement for our universities are you?0 -
