I've just received a letter with the decision following my appeal for unfair dismissal.
The decision was inapproprate and I have to contact them to make arrangements for a return to work.
I am over the moon that I won, but dont know what to do next. Basically, if I do return to work, I would be back working for the woman that sacked me.
She would make my life hell, I would imagine.
Is there anyone out there that can advise me what the hell to do next?0 -
You need the advice of an employment lawyer, fast!! I reckon they have found in your favour, for this sort of outcome, they are awaiting your letter of resignation. This is an all important letter, which will be looked over by their lawyers so you need one written in legal jargon, so leave no stone unturned, do you have to go back immediately? if you can get a breathing space of a week to consult with someone, all the better. If you need to see HR, take someone with you.

happyevs wrote:Ive read quite a lot off the posts all saying Dont resign and i must commend you on this and well done on winning the appeal-But also How could anyone be expected to go back into a working enviroment That suspended youI I for one could not) So my advise would be to find out about compensation for all the stress this has caused you & your Family in the lead up to the appeal and even the stress now where you have been offered back. There was a post from someone who said they know about these things and he has not been on for 2 weeks,Seek the help please and good luck for a fresh start all the best.
Thanks Happy,
I can honestly say, this has been one of the worst times of my life, and I've had some bad times I can tell you.
It would've been so easy to resign, but when I was dismissed and I knew I hadn't done anything to deserve it, I had to fight it.
It's been awful, but I couldn't let the bully win.
I do need McBirnie's help, and I have sent him a PM, but I know he's busy and he hasn't been around for a few days.
Who knows, he may even have a life of his own
Anyway, thanks for your kind words and best wishes :beer:Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:
